"Marks of Resilience" is a weeklong exhibition at CSUSB’s RAFFMA showcasing seven MFA artists whose works transform themes of pain, memory and healing into powerful expressions of renewal. The exhibit runs Dec. 4-11 with an opening reception on Dec. 4 from 4-6 p.m.
The AI workshop series, launching in fall 2025 and spring 2026, gives students hands-on, ethically grounded experience using AI for studying, writing and research. Supported by the CSU systemwide AI initiative, the series includes mentor-led sessions and video previews to help students build practical, responsible AI skills for their academic and professional futures.

Cal State San Bernardino will host its annual university-wide Giving Tuesday campaign on Dec. 2, joining the global movement of generosity that inspires giving and goodwill each holiday season. The campaign supports student scholarships, essential resources and impactful programs that help CSUSB students succeed.
Highlights of the event, hosted by the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration, were the donor address from Debbie Brown, wife of the late Jack H. Brown, philanthropist and founder of Stater Bros. Markets, and the heartfelt address by scholarship recipient Jennifer Cornejo. “Scholarships are so much more than financial gifts,” Cornejo said. “They represent opportunity, hope, potential, passion and a pathway for people like me.”
“Rooted in the Region, Driven by Purpose: Leveling the Playing Field for Students at California State University, San Bernardino,” by Kelly Campbell, CSUSB vice provost, is one of six case studies included in in “Transformation Powered by the ITA,” compiled by the Gardner Institute, a leading national student success nonprofit organization.
Cal State San Bernardino’s College of Natural Sciences (CNS) hosted its fall CNS Science Carnival, bringing together approximately 500 Inland Empire K-6 students, educators and parents for an immersive day of hands-on learning and exploration.

Veteran administrator Matthew Smith, a graduate of CSUSB, has been named Cal State San Bernardino’s new dean of students and associate vice president for Student Affairs.
