The film co-produced by Ahlam Muhtaseb, professor of communication studies, won the Jerusalem International Film Festival’s Special Jury Award in the Feature Documentary category.

The journal won the 2019 Gerald D. Nash History Journal First Prize, awarded by the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society.
