“HEAL,” by award-winning documentarian Adam Schomer, will be shown on Friday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m., in the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus' Indian Wells Theater.
In advance of the screening of the documentary film “HEAL,” the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus hosted Adam Schomer, the producer of the film, on Thursday, Nov. 16. The film will be shown Nov. 17 and 18 at the Indian Wells Theater.
The film, “1948: Creation & Catastrophe,” will screen on Dec. 3, the closing night of the 5th annual international 48mm Film Festival.
After national and international screenings at various film festivals and events, the documentary “1948: Creation & Catastrophe” will be shown at CSUSB on Thursday, Feb. 15.
The screening of “Killing Us Softly 4” was followed by discussion led by Zala Volcic, a visiting assistant professor in the CSUSB communication studies department.
Terri Ginsberg, an assistant professor at the American University in Cairo, reviewed the documentary “1948: Creation and Catastrophe,” which was co-produced and co-directed by Ahlam Muhtaseb, CSUSB professor of communication studies.
