Cal State San Bernardino’s Homecoming Week ended with the Homecoming Bash on Oct. 22 that featured games, entertainment, food, a volleyball game and the chance to connect – and reconnect – with fellow Coyotes, family and friends.
The virtual reality environment was introduced as part of the event, titled “Yesterday's Future: The Centuries-Long Quest For Virtual Reality,” hosted by the Annenberg Virtual Reality ColLABorative.
“Educational Leadership and Voice for Critical Action: Leading Educational Policies and Practices in an Era of Change,” will take place from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2.
The Amazon event stems from a new partnership with the California State University in the company’s efforts to hire CSU alumni and students. CSUSB was chosen as the site for the inaugural event.
The Oct. 21 event for James R. Watson & Judy Rodriguez Watson College of Education’s credential alumni is part of CSUSB’s Homecoming Week festivities.
The Amazon event, hosted by CSUSB Alumni, starts at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, at the Santos Manuel Student Union East in the Obershaw Dining Room.
CSUSB will hold the drill that simulates a major earthquake is hitting the region encouraging students, faculty and staff to – DROP, COVER and HOLD ON.
Steve Vivian, who earned his degree in accounting and finance in 2000, credits his involvement at CSUSB for leading him to a successful future.
CSUSB’s Homecoming Week will feature plenty of activities for students, alumni and friends with a campus tour, food, photo booth, giveaways, beer garden and Coyote volleyball, along with various celebrations and events at both university campuses.
