“In|Dignity,” an exhibit aimed at exploring and dismantling intolerance through the experiences of Inland Empire residents, officially opened at Cal State San Bernardino’s Anthropology Museum on Jan. 18 and will remain on display through Dec. 11.
“American Exceptionalism & American Identity Past, Present, and Future” will be presented as a brown-bag discussion with university faculty on April 19 at the John M. Pfau Library, room PL-4005, from 2-3:30 p.m.

Hosted by CSUSB’s Women of Color in Academia, “A Seat at the Table: Intersectionality in Higher Education,” featured a panel discussion focusing on women of color in higher education and two surprise faculty awards.
Jean Peacock (psychology) and Eri Yasuhara (world languages and literatures), the two founders of CSUSB’s University Faculty Mentoring Network were honored, and Brian Levin (criminal justice) was interviewed about a rarely prosecuted hate crime law.
“Exploring Race and Class in the #MeToo Movement,” presented by Mary Texeira, CSUSB sociology professor, will take place on June 7 in the John M. Pfau Library, PL-5005.
Eric Vogelsang, a CSUSB assistant professor of sociology, is quoted in an article about career changes by people who reach 40 years or older.
In addition to presenting the documentary by Shakti Butler, Project Rebound will host an orientation session sponsored by the Osher Adult Re-Entry Student Success Center.
