Verizon Foundation awards $300K grant renewal

Verizon Innovative Learning, the education initiative of the Verizon Foundation, has awarded a two-year grant renewal of $300,000 to CSUSB to extend its partnership that offers summer intensive courses in the STEM disciplines.

CSUSB said goodbye on to its first Coyotes Rising cohort after the students’ visit to the university from June 24-26. The summer overnight program is for high achieving African American students.
