
The honor was bestowed on President Tomás D. Morales for his “exceptional achievements” and his “significant contribution to the development of Caucasus University’s international standing and your distinguished service to Georgia,” Kakha Shengelia, president of Caucasus University, said.

Mary Jane McCoy, a graduate of CSUSB who had a long career as an educator in the Inland Empire, will receive an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters on May 17. A member of the Class of 1967, the university’s first graduating class, she served as an elementary school teacher and a principal in San Bernardino.

Paul Granillo, a CSUSB alumnus and president and CEO of the Inland Empire Economic Partnership, will be honored at the May 17 Spring Commencement with a CSU Trustee-Nominated Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.

Dorene C. Dominguez will receive an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters at the commencement ceremony for the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration on May 20 at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.

Paulette Brown-Hinds will spend her fellowship to explore ways to empower smaller newsrooms serving diverse communities in California to use solutions-focused data.
