Theatre arts student Dea Armstrong will present an abstract from her paper during the S. Randolph Edmonds Young Scholars award ceremony on July 22 at the 37th annual Black Theatre Network Conference in St. Louis, Mo.

The musical opened April 28 runs through May 7.

“The House of Trials,” directed by CSUSB assistant professor Kristi Papailler, is a 17th century romantic farce involving a brother and sister ensnared in a lover’s quadrangle! The play concludes its run this week with shows on Nov. 18, 19 and 20 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 21 at 2 p.m.

CSUSB’s Opera Theatre has released the full-length theatrical motion picture “Song from the Uproar,” by Grammy-nominated Missy Mazzoli, which features 10 CSUSB students who tell the story of the life of early 20th century feminist, nomad and novelist Isabelle Eberhardt.
