The 10th annual Pioneer Breakfast celebrated those individuals who exemplify the best of CSUSB, and honored students who were recipients of scholarships from the Black Faculty, Staff and Students Association.
The CSU’s Super Sunday, set for Feb. 26, is an initiative that focuses on the importance of higher education. African American congregations across California will receive presentations from California State University officials.
The Pioneer Breakfast celebrates those individuals who exemplify the best of CSUSB, exhibiting professionalism, helping students and showing a positive attitude toward colleagues and the university community.
The Cal State University Associates is a premier organization of supporters of the Palm Desert Campus of California State University, San Bernardino.
The funds will support the CSUSB and PDC Obershaw DEN pantries, scholarships, geology field work, athletics, the libraries and much more.
See up-and-coming stars in the entertainment industry, including local band Cold Cut, comedian Martin Amini and comedian Jessica Rosas.
Gifts of any amount help support scholarships and programs, such as the Obershaw DEN Food Pantry. Donors do not have to wait until Giving Tuesday on Nov. 29 to donate and can make a contribution today at the CSUSB Giving Tuesday website.
Reginald and René Webb were honored for their philanthropic work and efforts to help others in the community. The CSUSB Philanthropic Foundation was honored for its work in creating and improving academic access for CSUSB students through its scholarship fundraising endeavors.
Attendees will learn about the exciting opportunities in cyber education that includes scholarships, apprenticeships, research, community and workforce development and career readiness.
