California State University, San Bernardino will be closed Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of a state holiday commemorating the late civil rights leader, Martin Luther King Jr.
While the campus is closed for the holiday, the university’s Coussoulis Arena will be the venue for the Inland Empire Concerned African American Churches’ 38th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast.

Several hundred attended the event, which this year was titled “Living … Legacy … Legend.” The breakfast is held annually to remember the legacy of King, the late civil rights leader killed by an assassin’s bullet on April 4, 1968.
