Richard Tejada’s tenacity and work ethic were instrumental in getting him where he is today, a demonstration teacher who mentors other teachers throughout the San Bernardino City Unified School District.

Alumnus Pat Person created the character “Mista Pat” as a way to reach underrepresented school children to learn about science and other ESTEAM subjects in an entertaining yet instructive way.

The goal of the Center for Enhancement of Mathematics Education is to improve readiness for college among students in the region through partnerships with K-12 teachers and school districts, and through specific programs and workshops.
