
Be the Next Student Leader
Every spring, Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) holds a student government election to determine student leadership for the following academic year. ASI is excited to announce the 2026 Elections season, which will determine who will be sitting on the Board of Directors for 2026-2027.
ASI is governed by a Board of Directors (BoD) who represents the academic colleges and various student groups of Cal State University, San Bernardino. The students who sit on the Board advocate on behalf of their constituents. The Board of Directors is composed of four (4) executive officers and 13 directors representing the academic colleges, athletes, clubs/orgs, graduate students, international students, on-campus residence halls, students with disabilities, and students at large.

Online ballots will close on Thursday, April 16th at 12:59 PM (PST)
Only one ballot allowed per student. Please ensure that you complete the entire ballot until you see a "Thank You" message at the end. You may screenshot the message if you would like to redeem it for a treat during ASI's Voting Days events.

Receive $1,000 for Your Club or Organization!
The ASI Howl Grant provides students with a way to directly allocate a portion of the ASI fees to recognized organizations and programs. During the 2026 ASI Election, each student voter has the opportunity to allocate a $1,000 grant to ten (10) different clubs or organizations on campus.

American x Japanese Cross Culture Club | This funding will support the club’s activities for the 2025-2026 academic year, focused on promoting Japanese culture and cross-cultural exchange. The club plans to host events such as cultural showcases (e.g., karate performances), interactive activities (e.g., origami, Japanese snacks, and games), and collaborative campus events that engage students. Additionally, the club plans to organize larger events, such as a “Japan Week,” featuring multiple clubs and performers, though specific details may vary. |
| Child Development Club | This carnival-style, research-informed fundraising & community education event will invite attendees to learn, play, & support a local organization supporting LGBTQ+ Youth (the Inland Empire Prism Collective - IEPC). The event will feature interactive carnival games, educational booths, & community partner engagement to raise awareness about the developmental outcomes for LGBTQ+ youth, highlighting the critical role of family, school, & community support. Each activity booth will integrate child development research into accessible, engaging formats (e.g., activities on resilience building, education on developmental milestones, combatting myths). |
Club Rebound | This event and work to build awareness of the positive attributes CR brings to the university supports the Mission Statement of CSUSB by promoting growth and success. This will enhance the vitality of our region by actively engaging those whose socioeconomic status may prevent them from entering the higher education realm. CR educates their students in how to navigate the college education systems and supports how to effectively manage their educational attainment through financial training, such as FAFSA application submissions. |
| Coyote Student Nurses | The Coyote Student Nurses supports student involvement, leadership, and community service within the nursing program. The Nursing Mixer is an event dedicated to supporting nursing students and recognizing their hard work and dedication to the program. Grant funding will help support an initiative such as the Nursing Street Medicine Program, a community based program in which nursing students volunteer and give back to underserved communities around CSUSB. They provide vital services including food, clothing, hygiene products, and emotional support. Funding will also provide resources such as student nurse merchandise to promote unity and professional identity within our community. It is very important for us to help create a sense of unity within our program, the stronger our bond, the stronger our resilience to persevere will be. We sincerely appreciate your support in helping us continue to provide these meaningful opportunities for our CSUSB nursing students. |
| Korean Culture Club | The 12th Korean Festival is scheduled on April 16, 2027. The goal is to provide insights into the rich cultural heritage of Korea with a history spanning more than 5,000 years. The Korean Festival provides a rare opportunity to be exposed to Korean culture especially in the Inland Empire. All tickets had always been sold out and more than 220 audiences had experienced Korean traditional dance, percussion, vocal, and string instrument performances in each of the past years. The target audience are CSUSB students, faculty, staff and outside Asian communities. The past Korean Festivals in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 were so welcomed by the CSUSB and outside communities that many could not get tickets to attend. |
| Medical and Pre-Health Student Society (MAPSS) | The 13th Annual MAPSS Pre-Health Conference at California State University, San Bernardino is an event designed to support and guide aspiring healthcare professionals. Scheduled for Saturday, February 15th, 2025, this conference will feature inspiring speakers, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities with healthcare professionals and professional schools. Attendees, including pre-med, pre-dental, pre-PA, nursing, and other pre-health students, will gain valuable insights into career pathways, application strategies, and the latest trends in healthcare. Funding from this grant will help enhance the conference experience by supporting event logistics, speaker accommodations, and student engagement initiatives. |
Muslim Student Association | The Annual Ramadan Iftar is a community-centered evening hosted by the Muslim Student Association to support students observing Ramadan and to promote cultural understanding across campus. This event provides a free, inclusive dinner open to all students, giving them the opportunity to learn about Ramadan, share a meal, and build a sense of belonging. Funding from the Howl Grant would help cover food, supplies, and venue needs to ensure the event remains accessible, welcoming, and impactful for the 2026-27 academic year. |
National Society of Leadership and Success | The Coyote Community Care Initiative is a student-led program designed to support SUSB students experiencing food insecurity and basic needs challenges, particularly those impacted by recent CalFresh eligibility changes. The program will provide food assistance, hygiene supplies, and resource awareness to help students maintain stability and academic success. Funds from the Howl Grant will be used to purchase food items, hygiene supplies, and materials to support the Obershaw Den and on-campus distribution efforts. The initiative will be led by members of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) and will create opportunities for student leadership through the planning and implementation of service-based programs that directly support the CSUSB student community. |
Neuroscience Club | The First Inaugural CSUSB Neuroscience Awareness Symposium 2026 is a student-led educational event designed to promote neuroscience literacy, student research, and community engagement at CSUSB. This symposium represents an innovative initiative within the CSU system, as it focuses on neuroscience awareness and public engagement. While many universities host academic conferences, this event is uniquely designed to make neuroscience accessible, interactive, and relevant to students and the broader community. This symposium will feature student research presentation, poster session, and interactive workshops on brain health learning memory and behavior. |
Phi Alpha Mu Upsilon Honor Society | The Orientation Night will bring together social work students, prospective members, and the broader student body to build connections, foster a sense of belonging, and encourage engagement in service-oriented leadership. The event will feature an overview of the social work program, information about Phi Alpha membership, and interactive discussions centered on social justice, community impact, and professional development. In addition, the event will include the sale of clothing apparel, t-shirts (top and bottom sets) and handbags as part of a fundraising effort to support future student programming, community service initiatives, and outreach activities led by Phi Alpha Mu Upsilon. This component will also promote student entrepreneurship and engagement while helping sustain the organization’s mission. Special emphasis will be placed on supporting first-generation, low-income, and justice-impacted students by creating an inclusive and empowering space where all students feel valued and supported. Attendees will have opportunities to network with peers, faculty, and community partners, as well as learn about resources available on campus. Funding from the Howl Grant will support event materials, outreach efforts, and program activities to ensure broad participation. Overall, this program aims to strengthen student engagement, promote humanitarian values, and build a connected, supportive community of future social workers and all students at CSUSB. |
Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority | The 2026 National Convention in Baltimore, Maryland is a meaningful opportunity for members to come together as an organization to reflect, reconnect, and refocus. Throughout our time in Baltimore, attendees will participate in leadership development sessions and trainings designed for members at every level. The convention will also provide space to review and align on our strategic direction, while celebrating the growth and impact of our sisterhood. National Business Meetings will be held, where chapter delegates will vote on organizational policies and strategic priorities. Delegates will also engage in Risk Management Workshops to support safe and responsible chapter operations. It is mandatory for all chapters to send two delegates. I, Jasmine Marquez, will be serving as one of the chapter’s delegates for this convention and will be one of the active members for the next academic year. Additionally, the convention will offer Professional and Personal Development Workshops aimed at equipping members with transferable leadership skills that support both academic and professional success. Community Building and Cultural Engagement Programming will reflect Sigma Lambda Gamma’s commitment to diversity, service, and leadership. Overall, attendance at the convention provides a unique opportunity for students to engage in national governance, collaborate with peers from chapters across the country, and contribute to forward-thinking solutions that strengthen our organization. |
Students for Human Resource Management Club | The Spring 2026 JHBC Student Club Collaborative Event is a student networking and recruitment mixer that will bring together multiple JHBC student organizations to promote campus involvement, leadership, and professional growth. The event will include club introductions, a guest speaker, giveaways, and a networking period with food and refreshments. Howl Grant funding will support pizza, drinks, cookies, and giveaway prizes. |
Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) | We plan to hold a coffee and Thrift fundraiser event to raise money for the people of Palestine. The money will be used to acquire supplies for the event and any left over funds would be put towards the donation total. |
