A group of Cal State San Bernardino students and faculty embarked on a musical adventure when they performed in an orchestral concert at the world-renowned Seoul Arts Center in South Korea on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
Sponsored by the Shin Il Cultural Foundation Board of Directors and Dr. Se-Ung Lee, honorary chair of the foundation, the CSUSB Orchestra Concert featured a mix of classical master works and folk songs from around the world, including Korea, Mexico, Peru, Cuba and Spain.
In addition to the CSUSB music community, the program also included faculty and students from Seoul Cyber University.
The CSUSB Orchestra Concert was made possible through an endowment and a grant worth $498,000 created by the Korea Foundation in order to enhance the knowledge, understanding and awareness of Korean culture. Visit the Korea Foundation website to learn more.
