High school students battle at 18th annual Academic WorldQuest competition

The annual Academic WorldQuest competition is set for Thursday, Feb. 2, at the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus. Taking place from 5:30-8:30 p.m., the event is being coordinated by Michael Karp, an assistant professor of history at PDC.

Riguad Joseph, associate professor of social work, co-wrote a paper that “explored whether license-holding mental health professionals exhibit comfort/discomfort in addressing religion and spirituality (RS) in practice. Through snowball sampling, 52 clinicians across different fields were recruited across Southern California.”
