
Roderick Figgs, assistant director of GEAR UP at Cal State San Bernardino, has been named the 2019 Professional of the Year by the National Council for Community and Education Partnerships (NCCEP).

David Yaghoubian (history), Brian Levin (criminal justice), Ahlam Muhtaseb (communication studies) and Rolland Trapp (mathematics) shared their expertise with various news media.

Concepcion Barajas will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is not the only member of her family to attend college these past few years; three out of four of her children also attended other CSUs at the same time.

The summit will focus on “Sin Fronteras — Education Beyond Borders.” Registration is free.

The free, one-day summit will take place Thursday at the university’s Santos Manuel Student Union with the focus “Sin Fronteras — Education Beyond Borders.”

The free GenCyber summer camps, held in partnership with the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio, will run June 19-23 and June 26-30.
