
CSUSB and the Universidad Pedagogica y Tecnologica de Columbia have signed a memorandum of understanding created to boost joint areas of interest that include student exchange programs, teacher exchange programs and research studies.

The contract’s funding of more than $1.6 million will allow CBA to significantly increase its programming inside California state prisons, expanding its partnerships with other CSU campuses and growing jobs in the region.

Cal State San Bernardino’s WorkAbility IV will host a panel discussion at noon Thursday, Nov. 2, in the Lower Commons Pine Room, for students interested in a career in education.

CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales will host the Riverside Mayor’s Educational Roundtable on Nov. 15. CSUSB is the only college/university outside the city of Riverside represented in this group.

Cal State San Bernardino welcomed 24 education administrators from 20 universities in China on Monday, Nov. 13, where they met with CSUSB leaders, faculty and students for a professional development day.

The College of Extended Learning at CSUSB will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Center of Global Innovation 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5. It has been moved indoors to the College of Education lobby due to high winds in the forecast.

The Center for Global Innovation, which was unanimously approved by the CSU Board of Trustees and is expected to open by fall 2019, will be home to the College of Extended Learning, including all international student programs.
