KVCR will air an hour-long special featuring the literary talent of San Bernardino-area school children who were mentored by CSUSB students. The show can be heard at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, and 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25.
The grant was presented to the Palm Desert Campus to create a needs-based, financial support system for current students enrolled at the university.
Fourteen people died that day – five of them CSUSB alumni – and all were remembered during a memorial service at the university’s Peace Garden.
