Students from Cal State San Bernardino’s School of Social Work were among the thousands of university students from throughout the state to gather in Sacramento recently to learn about legislation that affects social workers and their clients.

Elliott, who developed the “Blue Eyes/Brown Eyes” exercise after the 1968 assassination of Martin Luther King Jr., showed how people can recognize and identify disparities in the ways in which power is assigned and maintained.

The exhibit, which focuses on juveniles who were given sentences of 20 or more years and incarcerated with adults, will be on display through June 15.

The CSBS Hall of Fame 2019 Induction Ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, April 26, at the university's Santos Manuel Student Union Events Center.
