CSUSB's John M. Pfau Library is expanding its online services as the campus shifts to virtual instruction and other remote learning modalities due to COVID-19.
Julia Strauss will present “State Formation in China and Taiwan: Bureaucracy, Campaign, and Performance” at 2 p.m. Monday, March 2, in the John M. Pfau Library, room PL-4005.
José Angel Gutiérrez, author and one of the “Four Horsemen of the Chicano Movement,” will return to Cal State San Bernardino on Thursday, Feb. 27, to discuss two of his latest books.
On Tuesday, Feb. 25, the University Diversity Committee and the John M. Pfau Library at CSUSB will present “Wilmington on Fire,” which chronicles the events leading up to Nov. 10, 1898, when the Wilmington Massacre took place.
“Hollywood Chinese: A Book and Film Presentation with Oscar®-nominated Filmmaker/Author Arthur Dong,” will take place Wednesday, Feb. 19, at the university’s John M. Pfau Library.
“Anthropocene: The Human Epoch,” a film discussing the geological and environmental impacts humans have had on the Earth, will be shown at noon, Wednesday, Feb. 5, in the Santos Manuel Student Union Theater, followed by a discussion.
Attendees will learn about career pathways into the comics industry, creative process discussions and writing advice -- and meet with professionals -- at the Comic Book Expo and Career Workshop on Thursday, Feb. 20.
The children of W. Benson Harer, longtime supporter of CSUSB, donated more than 2,200 books worth over $300,000 to the university’s library and RAFFMA.
“A Multidisciplinary Panel Discussing Slavery, Its Legacy, and the Case for Redress” will be presented beginning at noon on Oct. 29 in the CSUSB Performing Arts Recital Hall.
