About 1,420 students registered to participate in the two CSUSB fall Commencement ceremonies scheduled for 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.
A weekend of ceremonies that honored the hard work and dedication of the Class of 2022. A total of 2,320 undergraduate students and 513 graduate students celebrated at the CSUSB Spring Commencement on May 20 and 21.
More than 2,830 students are expected to participate in the CSUSB 2022 Spring Commencement, the university’s first live spring commencement since 2019, in four separate ceremonies May 20-21 at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.
Rosemarie Gilbert, who will graduate with her Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, is the Outstanding Graduate Student, and William Nguyen, who will graduate with his bachelor’s in accounting, is the Outstanding Undergraduate.
Sonia Perez-Gamboa of Redlands and Carmen Wardwell of Loma Linda will be honored for their accomplishments at the CNS spring commencement, the college’s first live graduation ceremony in three years.
Theresa Gonzales, doctorate in educational leadership, and Oscar Ruiz, education specialist degree in school psychology, are first-generation college students who have earned advanced degrees.
Naim Aburaddi, communication studies major, is the Outstanding Graduate Student, and Ferris Strachan, liberal studies major, is the Outstanding Undergraduate.
Cal State San Bernardino celebrated its graduates from spring 2020, fall 2020 and spring 2021 in a series of make-up ceremonies on Dec. 9 and 10, and honored its fall 2021 graduates on Dec. 11.
CSUSB has announced Reginald and René Webb, of Webb Family Enterprises, as recipients of Honorary Doctors of Humane Letters degrees.
