The university has been named a 2021-2022 Military Friendly® School with a gold ranking for its commitment to veterans who are students and their families.

The three grants, each worth $25,000, support various university programs, including the Veterans Success Center, Coyote First STEP, the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center and the Women’s Business Center.
The CSUSB Veterans Success Center honored its graduating veterans by giving them special stoles to wear for the university’s 2019 Fall Commencement, which will take place with three ceremonies in Coussoulis Arena on Saturday, Dec. 7.
The CSUSB Veterans Success Center and the Air Force ROTC Det. 002 held a celebration honoring the U.S. Air Force’s 70th birthday on Oct. 4.
For the fourth time, the Alaska USA Foundation has awarded the Cal State San Bernardino Veterans Success Center a grant of $5,000 to support four of the center’s events.
The open house will feature an American-style barbecue and music, along with tours of the center and an introduction to the services it offers and its accomplishments.
