Cal State San Bernardino graduate students with a passion for journalism have an opportunity to develop their reporting skills through the Laveryn Grace Schultz Fellowship.

The $7,000 award will support four students in CSUSB’s M.A. in Communication Studies or M.A. in English and Writing Studies programs who are committed to investigative or community journalism in the Inland Empire. The application deadline is April 15.

Juan Sibrian has been named the recipient of a CSU Trustees' Award for Outstanding Achievement, the CSU’s highest recognition of student success, for 2024-25. He, along with other CSU scholarship recipients, will be honored at the Tuesday, Sept. 24, Board of Trustees meeting.
