Cast of "Lucky Stiff"

From April 22 to May 15, the theatre department will run a futuristic adaptation of William Shakespeare’s comedy, “The Two Gentlemen of Verona,” alongside the musical comedy “Lucky Stiff.”

Johanna Smith’s book has been selected for the Nancy Straub Award for Excellence in Publication on the Art of Puppetry, which honors works that are exemplary contributions that forward the field of puppetry.

CSUSB’s Model United Nations team again earned top honors at the recent National Model United Nations Conference in New York City, and given its long track record of excellence, solidifying the university’s program among the best in the world.

The team of 18 students, representing diverse academic and personal backgrounds, earned the Outstanding Delegation Award, the highest honor given by the National Model United Nations Conference. They represented the country of Cameroon in the annual conference held April 2-8 in New York City.

Brand is the fourth Egyptologist to visit and teach at CSUSB since the start of the visiting scholar program in 2018. In addition to teaching in the departments of history and anthropology, she will present a keynote talk, “Making Millions of Pots: How the Cult in Ancient Egypt Met Its Demand for Pottery,” at RAFFMA on April 5.
