Paz Maya Olivérez, currently the senior associate vice president and dean of students at California State Stanislaus, will join CSUSB on Aug. 1 as the new vice president of student affairs.
Donna Gotch was named the 2018-19 Outstanding Lecturer on May 23 when CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales and a group of faculty, staff and administrators stepped into her classroom to make the surprise announcement.

Several donors visited the Cal State San Bernardino campus June 21 to attend a ceremony thanking them for their support of 20 CSUSB students who will be studying abroad in Mexico City this summer.
The effort is part of the California State University System’s Graduation Initiative 2025 to expedite its students’ path to a high-quality college degree.
