
The tournament will be held on Friday, May 2, at Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon in Beaumont. Proceeds benefit the CSUSB Sports and Entertainment Marketing Scholarship, which supports students pursuing marketing careers in the competitive sports and entertainment industries.

The $7,000 award will support four students in CSUSB’s M.A. in Communication Studies or M.A. in English and Writing Studies programs who are committed to investigative or community journalism in the Inland Empire. The application deadline is April 15.

Juan Sibrian has been named the recipient of a CSU Trustees' Award for Outstanding Achievement, the CSU’s highest recognition of student success, for 2024-25. He, along with other CSU scholarship recipients, will be honored at the Tuesday, Sept. 24, Board of Trustees meeting.

Cal State San Bernardino continues to accept undergraduate applications from first-time and upper-division transfer students for spring 2025. The application deadline has been extended to Sept. 20.

Aliyshah Shamburger, a senior nursing student, was among the inaugural group of scholars recognized for demonstrating leadership in increasing equitable access to higher education and undertaking community service that promotes anti-racism work and culture change to elevate Black excellence.

The endowment for the Ariana Mae Hatami Scholarship for Survivors of Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking was created to ensure a permanent source of ongoing funds for this vulnerable population of students.

“This gift from Sheila and Jack Clarke will have an enormous impact on our students, and we are extremely grateful for their generosity,” said CSUSB President Tomás D. Morales.

April 2 is the deadline for applications for the Mountain Communities Scholarship to be accepted through the MyCoyote portal on the CSUSB website. Applicants must be residents of the greater Lake Arrowhead communities encompassed by the Rim of the World Unified School District.

The ASCM-APICS Inland Empire Chapter has committed $27,100 to CSUSB to help students who are pursuing a career in supply chain management or manufacturing/operations management.
