
The campus community is invited to the 12th College of Arts & Letters Faculty Colloquium held Monday, Feb. 4, from 2 to 3:45 p.m. in the John M. Pfau Library, Room 4005.

ITS Tech Talks provided an opportunity for faculty and staff to meet and exchange ideas about technology in education, explore current and emerging technologies, and learn about projects that are enhancing the teaching and learning experience.

The CSUSB College of Arts and Letters Faculty Colloquium featured three faculty members: Carmen Jany, professor of Spanish; Annie Buckley, professor of art; and Nicholas Bratcher, assistant professor of music.

“Les Mamelles de Tirésias” (The Breasts of Tiresias), a comic opera by French composer Francis Poulenc, will be performed on Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4, both at 7:30 p.m., at the university’s Performing Arts Recital Hall.

The showcase will take place in the Performing Arts Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16. Tickets are available online.

The Korea Foundation Grant Steering committee, led by Professor Bomi Hwang, lecturer in the CSUSB World Languages and Literatures Department, has approved a number of activities that have benefited departments across campus.

The Chamber Orchestra Spring Concert, conducted by Lucy Lewis, will take place on Thursday, June 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Building Recital Hall.

The annual Spring 2019 Faculty Showcase at Cal State San Bernardino celebrated 11 faculty members and their success in using innovative pedagogies and learning technologies for instruction.

Musical styles from Latin dance to classic rock ’n’ roll to rhythm and blues to jazz and more will be offered every Wednesday at 7 p.m. beginning July 5.
