Jess Block Nerren (communication studies) was interviewed about The Cognitive Collective on campus, Mahmood Nikbakhtzadeh (health science and human ecology) will be a guest speaker at a meeting of the ACS San Gorgonio chapter, and Mark Agars (psychology) coauthored a study about supporting workers with chronic illnesses.

The training, which will take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Thursday, July 24-Aug. 10, and consist of lectures and laboratory work, will take place at CSUSB, with field work led by the Coachella Valley Mosquito & Vector Control District.

The recipients of the award are Mahmood Nikbakhtzadeh, assistant professor of health science and human ecology; Jacob Jones, associate professor of psychology; José A. Muñoz, associate professor of sociology; and Mariam Betlemidze, associate professor of communication studies.
