The local Farmers Insurance District Office has agreed to offer an internship program to Cal State San Bernardino, Palm Desert Campus that will pay $13-$15/hour and offer 15-20 hours per week to students approved for the program.

RCIT Field Support - Professional Student Intern (Paid)
The Riverside County Information Technology (RCIT) Department has an internship opportunity that will provide Converged Installation Maintenance (CIM) Field Support alongside a skilled technician. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience with the cross-functional, inter-working of a large scale enterprise business.
STUDENT INTERNSHIP with various departments (Intern Pool)
Under supervision, assists and participates in the work performed by employees of a specific professions; through participation, receives supervised work experience in a specific professional vocation; and performs other related duties as required.
Incumbents of this class are current undergraduate or graduate students with a major study area directed towards a specific profession and departmental assignments. The incumbents are employed by County departments and are provided in-service training through participation in the actual duties and responsibilities assigned professional employees. A partial list of typical professions that Student Interns may participate in includes accounting, administration, law, human resources, planning, probation, and social work.
Equality California Mentorship Corps
Equality California Mentorship Corps is an AmeriCorps service program with options for service in Fresno, Palms Springs, and Oceanside, California.
Part-time members commit to 11 months of service, working 20 hours a week accumulating to 900 total service hours, working in middle and high schools, providing mentorship and support to LGBTQ+ and all students. Corps members are compensated with a modest living allowance of at least $10,000 per service year and receive an education award that they can use for past or future education expenses.
Full-time members commit to 11 months of service and 1700 total service hours, working in middle and high schools, providing mentorship and support to LGBTQ+ and all students. Corps members are compensated with a modest living allowance of $21,000 per service year, and, upon successful completion of the program, are eligible for a $10,000 education award.
