IACLEA, The Leading Authority For Campus Public Safety

The California State University, San Bernardino Police Department is accredited by the California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) and have been relentlessly pursuing our accreditation through the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA).

The International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators is a prestigious national and international accrediting body that is the “Gold Standard” of accreditation and critically improves the delivery of campus safety and policing and play a pivotal role in our department operations by maintaining a comprehensive body of law enforcement standards, establishing, and administering an accreditation process that can only be recognized as professional excellence!

IACLEA accreditation provides campus law enforcement agencies with an opportunity to demonstrate compliance with established professional standards through a transparent process that are tested by an independent assessor.

Our accreditation affirms our steadfast commitment to our campus, community, and the noble profession of law enforcement.  In addition to this, our accreditation cements our unshakable commitment to our community that we will maintain the highest standards in campus safety.

The California State University, San Bernardino Police Department continues to pursue methods of improving our efficiency and delivery essentially preserving our position as recognized leaders in Campus Safety and Policing, Emergency Management and Business Continuity, and Parking and Transportation Services inclusive of a State Certified 9-1-1 Regional Police Communication Dispatch Center.
