Who Can Apply?
CSUSB will accept Spring Undergraduate Applications for non-impacted programs from Transfer students only.

Please note: All transfer applicants for spring must have their Golden Four courses (Written Communication, Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning, Critical Thinking and Oral Communication) completed at the end of the summer term. CSUSB will not be able to accept any coursework taken during the fall term to fulfill the Golden Four Admission Requirement for the spring term. CSUSB is an impacted campus, while you will be eligible for admission based on the above criteria, you may not be admitted if there are more qualified applications than CSUSB is able to accommodate established by the campus impaction plan.

When to Apply: Spring Application Deadlines
Applications for Spring will be accepted from August 1 through September 15. All applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on September 15, 2024.
An extended deadline of September 30th will be available for qualified Recently Discharged Veteran Applicants and Returning CSUSB students. If you are not sure if you qualify as either of these special populations, please review the following resources:

Applications to the 23 California State University campuses, including Cal State, San Bernardino are submitted through Cal State Apply. Cal State Apply is a resource for gathering information about particular campuses and programs, understanding impaction requirements and for submission of your application for admission review.

CSU Resources
Cal State Apply is a Centralized Application Service (CAS) that simplifies the process of applying to California State University (CSU) programs. You start by selecting the programs you wish to apply to, then you submit one application that includes all necessary materials. Once received by Cal State Apply, your application and materials are transmitted to all of your selected programs.

What is needed to Apply: Transfer Student Application Checklist
When you are ready to complete your application to Cal State San Bernardino through Cal State Apply, be sure to have the following items on hand:
- Unofficial transcripts
- Your Social Security number (if applicable)
- Your citizenship status
- A method of payment for the $70 application fee (if not waiver eligible)
- Annual income: Your parent's if you are a dependent; your income if you are independent
- EOP Applicants Only: Your parent's employment background and two recommendations
