Sending Our Winter Wish: 12 Days of Learning Starts Soon! (December 1st - 16th)
Greetings from the Winter Learn-Shop, our dear friends!
We are delighted to write to you from our cozy workshop nestled deep within the snowy banks. Our lanterns are glowing, the work benches are polished, and the chilly wind outside is carrying the promise of fresh ideas. From December 1st through 16th, we will bring your winter wish to life! For the next 12 days, our Winter Learn-Shop doors will be open wide, welcoming you into a place where curiosity is crafted, skills are shaped, and creativity always has room to grow.
Each day, a new station will be revealed for you to explore. Some will invite you to reflect and recharge, while others will offer tools to strengthen your well-being, sharpen your craft, or spark new inspiration. These activities draw upon the Dimensions of Wellness and Workforce Readiness, intentionally prepared to help you build confidence, discover new perspectives, and add a few bright skills to your winter toolkit.
Whether you choose to tinker with a new technique, cozy up with a mindful moment, or simply wander through the Learn-Shop with wonder, we hope this season’s journey fills you with encouragement, warmth, and a renewed sense of possibility.
Keep an eye out for your daily station itineraries--there will be much to explore during these 12 Days of Learning!

How to Participate
Join us for our annual 12 Days of Learning event series. We have put together learning opportunities & seasonal activities for your personal and professional development. A few of the activities require pre-registration, space is limited so please register early.
Each activity you complete on the day it is offered will earn you an entry into an opportunity drawing for some great prizes; the more days you complete, the more entries you earn!

Monday, 12/1:
Candy Gram Corner
Stop by to write a thoughtful message to a colleague who has supported or inspired you. Our team will personally deliver them, along with a sweet treat.

Thursday, 12/11:
Participate in 'Cocoa, Crafts & Colleagues' hosted by SD&E. No registration required.
Time: 11:00am-2:00pm
Location: SEC
Tuesday, 12/16:
Complete 'Mindful Puzzles' from the comfort of your desk (or wherever you make a difference on campus). Activity packet will be made available closer to Day 12.
